There Is A Great Network Of Public Footpaths And Bridleways In The Vicinity Of Fonthill Gifford And Fonthill Bishop (See Map Image). Although Entry To The Water Is Actively Discouraged If You Walk To The Dam At The Southern End Of The Lake, Just Beyond It Is A Fabulous Shallow Chalk Stream For Splashing Around In. Loop Walk By Salisbury Rugby Club And Victoria Park
The Rugby Club Itself Is A Fairly Flat Hill To Let The Dogs Run Around In There's A Footpath That Then Leads To The Dad's Joke Footpath/Walk And Can Walk Into The Town Centre From This Route.
