There Are Toilets And Oaid Parking, Plus Cafe At Middleton Top. We Walked Towards Black Rocks. Its About 1-2 Miles, Downhill. Be Aware, It'll Make You Puff On The Way Back Up! The Track Is Stoney, Wide And Goes From Flat To Hilly, Open Views Across The Valley To Tree Lined. The Lune Has Signposts Charting The History Along The Way. We Visited Stoney Wood Whilst Staying In Wirksworth. Walkable From The Village Or Park Close By. This Place Is Part Of A Millennium Wood Planted In An Old Quarry.
