Horton is a small village located in the Staffordshire Moorlands district of Staffordshire, England. The village is situated on the edge of the Peak District National Park and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The village has a population of around 300 people and is known for its peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.

The village of Horton has a rich history dating back to the 12th century. The village was originally owned by the Earl of Chester and was later passed on to the Stafford family. The Stafford family played an important role in the history of the village and many of the buildings in the village were built by them. Today, the village is home to a number of historic buildings including the 12th century St Michael's Church and the 17th century Horton Hall.
