Welcome to Clayton

Clayton is a small village located in South Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately 5 miles east of the city of Sheffield and is part of the Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham. The village has a population of around 1,500 people and is surrounded by beautiful countryside, making it a popular destination for walkers and hikers.

One of the main attractions in Clayton is the Clayton Windmills. The village is home to two windmills, which were built in the 19th century and are now Grade II listed buildings. The windmills were used to grind corn and wheat into flour and were an important part of the local economy.
