There Are Sheep Around One Half Of The Reservoir So Dogs May Have To Be On Lead But The Other Half Does Not Have Sheep. A Football Field Is Also On Route So Dogs Can Have A Run Around There Too. A Circular Dog Walk At Cheddar Gorge. At Almost 122 Metres Deep And 3 Miles Long, This Is England’S Largest Gorge, With Weathered Crags And Pinnacles. BS27 3QF 1.60 miles For Cheddar Cliffs Take A371 To Wells From Weston-Super-Mare. 8 Miles North-West Of Wells, Signposted Off M5, A371 Axbridge To Wells Road And A38 Burnham To Bristol Road.

Lovely Walk Around The Gorge. It Is Best To Keep Dogs On Lead Because Of The Cliffs Edge But There Are Some Lovely Views At The Top. It Is A Very Hilly Walk And Is Also Fairly Long. You Can Walk Down Into The Village And There Are Toilets, Places To Eat And Have A Break Too. A Walk On The Westernmost And Most Mountainous Of The Six Main Peaks In The Mendip Hills, A Summit Topped By Limestone Exposures, Overlooking The Somerset Levels And The Bristol Channel Coastline. BS26 2HH 2.69 miles Along Webbington Road, Near Compton Bishop.

Slight Walk Up To The Top Of The Hill But The Views Are Stunning From The Top. If You Take The Left Path Once Up The Top, You Can Walk Down To Cheddar Gorge Or You Can Take The Right Path And Walk Down Into The Woods To Rowberrow Warren And Dolebury Warren. Livestock On Route And Can Get Very Muddy In The Winter Due To The Horses And Cows Churning Up The Mud Making It Very Hard To Walk Up The Hill. Lovely Walk During The Summer.
