Worton is a small village located in the county of Oxfordshire, England. It is situated approximately 5 miles north of the town of Wantage and 10 miles south-west of the city of Oxford. The Domesday Book of 1086 records the village as being owned by the Bishop of Winchester, and it remained under the control of the church until the 16th century.
