Cote Oxfordshire is a small village located in the Cherwell district of Oxfordshire, England. The village is situated on the A361 road, which connects Banbury and Chipping Norton. Cote has a rich history dating back to the 11th century. The village was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 and was known as Cota. The village was once home to a medieval manor house, which was owned by the Bishop of Winchester. Today, the manor house is a private residence and is not open to the public. Cote also has a 12th-century church, St. Peter's, which is a Grade II listed building.
