Welcome to Rylands

Rylands is a small village located in the county of Nottinghamshire, England. It is situated approximately 5 miles east of the town of Worksop and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The village has a population of around 300 people and is known for its peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.

The history of Rylands dates back to the 12th century when it was known as Rilande. The village was originally a farming community and remained so until the 19th century when coal mining became the main industry in the area. The village has a number of historic buildings including St. Michael's Church which dates back to the 13th century and the Rylands Mill which was built in the 19th century.

Today, Rylands is a popular destination for tourists who come to enjoy the beautiful countryside and explore the village's rich history. The village has a number of amenities including a village hall, a pub, and a post office.
