Welcome to New Eastwood

New Eastwood is a small town located in the county of Nottinghamshire, England. It is situated approximately 8 miles northwest of Nottingham city centre and is part of the Broxtowe borough. The town has a population of around 10,000 people and is known for its rich history and beautiful countryside.

One of the main attractions in New Eastwood is the DH Lawrence Birthplace Museum. This museum is dedicated to the life and works of the famous author DH Lawrence, who was born in the town in 1885. The museum is located in the house where Lawrence was born and features a collection of his personal belongings, manuscripts, and other memorabilia. Visitors can also explore the surrounding countryside, which inspired many of Lawrence's works.

New Eastwood is also home to a number of parks and green spaces, including the Coronation Park and the Beauvale Priory. The Coronation Park is a popular spot for picnics and outdoor activities, while the Beauvale Priory is a historic site that dates back to the 14th century.
