Kilvington is a small village located in the county of Nottinghamshire, England. It is situated approximately 10 miles east of Nottingham and 5 miles south of Newark-on-Trent. If You Like Mixing A Walk With History, Try Belvoir Castle. A Gorgeous Castle With Grounds. Dogs Are Not Allowed In The Castle But They Are Allowed In The Grounds And Landscaped Gardens. The Immediate Gardens All Have Themes And Are Very Pretty. There Are Both Long And Short Walks Here. See The Website To Download Them. Some Are Several Hours. It Is Pricey, £12. But Take A Picnic And Stay A While. There Is A Lovely Pub And Shopping Area Over The Road As Well. Belvoir Castle Belvoir 5.84 miles Parking On Site In A Proper Car Park. There Is A Step Path Up To The House. The Website Says 15Mins But If You Are Able Bodied Then I'D Say Less Than 5Mins. The Castle Is Well Sign Posted.

But It's S Big Enough To Spend Hours Here If Your Dog Likes Long Walks, Or Why Not Walk And Picnic! You Can Do A Basic Walk On The Tarmac Drive In Front Of The House, And Then Loop Around By The River. Or Pass By The Front Of The House And Out Towards The Hill.
