Welcome to Acklington

Acklington is a small village located in Northumberland, England. It is situated approximately 5 miles south of Amble and 9 miles north of Morpeth. The village is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is home to a number of historic buildings, including the Grade II listed Acklington Tower. The village has a population of around 500 people and is known for its friendly community spirit.

One of the main attractions in Acklington is the Acklington Railway Station. The station was opened in 1847 and was an important stop on the East Coast Main Line. Today, the station is no longer in use, but the building has been preserved and is now a popular tourist attraction.
