Deanshanger is a small village located in the South Northamptonshire district of Northamptonshire, England. The village is situated approximately 5 miles south-west of the town of Towcester and 8 miles north-west of the city of Milton Keynes. Deanshanger has a population of around 2,000 people and is a popular residential area due to its proximity to major towns and cities.

The village has a rich history dating back to the 11th century when it was known as Dingesangra. The name Deanshanger is believed to have originated from the Old English words "denu" meaning valley and "sangra" meaning sandy bank. The village was once a major stop on the coaching route between London and Birmingham and was home to several coaching inns. Today, Deanshanger is a thriving community with a range of local amenities including a primary school, village hall, post office, and several shops and pubs.

Deanshanger is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is a popular destination for walkers and cyclists. The village is located close to several nature reserves including the Grand Union Canal and the River Tove. We Had A Nice Day With Our Dog At Castle Ashby Gardens. Walk Through The Well Maintained Estate. There's Plenty To See. There Is A Short Woodland Walk That Has Been Marked Out, Round The Pond. Go Through The Arboretum And Into The Different Gardens. Dogs Can Even Go In The Glass Palmery. We Saw Several Other Dogs There. Lots Of Magical Pathways And Hiding Places. A Nice Half Day Out.
