Spaldington is a small village located in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately 5 miles east of the town of Howden and 5 miles west of the town of Goole. The village is surrounded by farmland and is home to a population of around 200 people. The village has a church, a pub, and a village hall which is used for community events.

The village of Spaldington has a rich history dating back to the 11th century. The village was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 and was owned by the Archbishop of York. The village was once home to a castle which was built in the 12th century but was destroyed during the English Civil War. Today, the only remains of the castle are the earthworks which can be seen in the fields surrounding the village.

Spaldington is a peaceful and picturesque village which is popular with walkers and cyclists. The village is located close to the River Ouse and the surrounding countryside is home to a variety of wildlife.
