Shiptonthorpe is a small village located in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately 5 miles west of the market town of Pocklington and 10 miles east of the city of York. The village has a population of around 500 people and is surrounded by beautiful countryside, making it a popular destination for walkers and cyclists.
