Raskelf is a small village located in the district of Hambleton, North Yorkshire. The village is situated approximately 4 miles south of the market town of Thirsk and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Raskelf has a population of around 500 people and is a peaceful and quiet place to live. The village has a primary school, a church, a village hall, and a pub.

The village of Raskelf has a rich history dating back to the Roman times. The village was once a Roman settlement and there are still remains of a Roman road that runs through the village. In the 12th century, Raskelf was owned by the Archbishop of York and was later passed on to the Crown. The village was once a thriving agricultural community and many of the buildings in the village date back to the 18th and 19th centuries.

Today, Raskelf is a popular place to live for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The village is surrounded by beautiful countryside and there are many walking and cycling routes in the area. The village is also close to the A1(M) motorway, making it easy to travel to nearby towns and cities. Raskelf is a friendly and welcoming community and is a great place to raise a family or retire.
