Wroot is a small village located in the North Lincolnshire district of Lincolnshire, England. The village is situated approximately 8 miles east of Doncaster and 10 miles north-west of Gainsborough. Wroot is a quiet and peaceful village with a population of around 500 people. The village is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is a popular destination for walkers and cyclists.

Wroot has a rich history dating back to the Roman times. The village was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 and was once a thriving market town. Today, the village is home to a number of historic buildings including St Pancras Church, which dates back to the 12th century. The church is a Grade I listed building and is known for its beautiful stained glass windows and impressive tower.
