Belleau is a small village located in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. The village is situated approximately 5 miles north-west of Alford and 10 miles south-east of Louth. The village of Belleau has a rich history dating back to the 11th century. The village was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 and was known as "Belgehou". The village was owned by the Bishop of Durham until the 16th century when it was sold to the Earl of Lincoln. Belleau was once a thriving community with a school, post office, and several shops. Today, the village is a peaceful and quiet place to live, with many of the original buildings still standing.

Belleau is home to several historic landmarks, including the 12th-century St. John the Baptist Church. The church is a Grade II listed building and features a Norman doorway and a 14th-century font. The village also has a war memorial dedicated to the soldiers who lost their lives in World War I and II.
