Althorpe is a small village located in the county of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated approximately 5 miles north-west of the town of Scunthorpe and is home to a population of around 300 people. The village is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is known for its peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.

One of the main attractions in Althorpe is the St. Lawrence Church, which dates back to the 12th century. The church is a Grade I listed building and is known for its stunning architecture and beautiful stained glass windows.
