Stoughton is a small village located in the county of Leicestershire, England. It is situated approximately 5 miles southeast of Leicester city centre and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The village has a population of around 300 people and is known for its picturesque cottages, historic church, and friendly community.

One of the main attractions in Stoughton is the St Mary's Church, which dates back to the 13th century. The church is a Grade II listed building and features a beautiful stained glass window, a medieval font, and a unique bell tower. The church is still in use today and holds regular services, as well as hosting community events throughout the year.

Stoughton is also home to a number of walking and cycling routes, which take visitors through the stunning Leicestershire countryside. The village is situated on the Leicestershire Round, a 100-mile circular walk that takes in some of the county's most beautiful landscapes. There are also a number of local pubs and restaurants in the area, serving up delicious food and drink to visitors and locals alike.
