Lyminge is a small village located in the county of Kent, England. It is situated in the district of Folkestone and Hythe and is approximately 10 miles south of Canterbury. The village has a rich history dating back to the Anglo-Saxon period, and it is believed that it was once the capital of the Kingdom of Kent.
