Pirton is a small village located in the county of Hertfordshire, England. It is situated approximately 3 miles northwest of Hitchin and has a population of around 1,000 people. The village is known for its picturesque countryside, historic buildings, and friendly community.

One of the most notable landmarks in Pirton is the St. Mary's Church, which dates back to the 12th century. The church is a Grade I listed building and features a beautiful Norman doorway, a 14th-century font, and a 15th-century rood screen.
