Manor Farm Country Park
This Is A Walk That Has Everything, Open Grassed Areas For Ball Running The Dog, Wooded Area Walks Which Are Great For The Dog That Likes To Have A Good Sniff And A Woodland Walk Next To Hamble River. I Normally Access The Park From Pylands Lane Which Is Next To Junction 8 Of The M27 And Then Take The Walk Through The Woods And Along The River Bank, The Walk Follows A Path And Runs Close To A Bridleway So Beware Of The Odd Horse Now And Again, There Are Plenty Of Parking Areas Along The Way Which Are Pay And Display. Right At The Other End Of The Park Close To Botley Is The Farm Which Is Open To The Public And Great For Kids. There Are Toilets, Refreshments And Plenty Of Picnic Areas. Swanwick Nature Reserve Can Be Found At The End Of Sopwith Way To The Rear Of The National Air Traffic Site In Swanwick. There Is A Small Car Park But If Necessary, You Can Park (Considerately) Along Sopwith Way. The Nature Reserve Consists Of Three Walks Marked Red (Short), Blue (Around The Lake) And Yellow (Longest).
