A Great Walk With 2 Play Areas And Many Seating Spaces. The Parking Is Not Free And Carparks Can Fill Up Quickly But There Is A Lot Of Space To Walk Offlead. Go Ape Activity Is There And There Is A Cafe But It Is A Dog-Free Zone. However There Are Benches Outside That You Can Sit And Eat On. Walk In The Fields, To A Stream And Back. 44 Stag Dr Hedge End Southampton SO30 2QN 2.24 miles On Maunsell Road, You Will See A Path In Between, Houses. Proceed Down The Path, You Will Need To Take The Second Right Path, From There You Will See A Gate And Then The Fields, On The Left. If You Cannot Find This Way Or You Need To Park. Go To Locke Road. There Is A Big Green Area On The Right And A Children'S Park On The Left. Go In Between. And You Will See The Fields. The Cornfield (The Biggest One) Will Be On Your Right. The Stream Is The Hardest To Find As There Is No Path. Just In Between Trees. I Have Placed The Marker On The Map Where You Will Find The Stream.

This Is A Walk That Has Everything, Open Grassed Areas For Ball Running The Dog, Wooded Area Walks Which Are Great For The Dog That Likes To Have A Good Sniff And A Woodland Walk Next To Hamble River. I Normally Access The Park From Pylands Lane Which Is Next To Junction 8 Of The M27 And Then Take The Walk Through The Woods And Along The River Bank, The Walk Follows A Path And Runs Close To A Bridleway So Beware Of The Odd Horse Now And Again, There Are Plenty Of Parking Areas Along The Way Which Are Pay And Display. Right At The Other End Of The Park Close To Botley Is The Farm Which Is Open To The Public And Great For Kids. There Are Toilets, Refreshments And Plenty Of Picnic Areas.
