Knowle Park Can Be Accessed Via Two Car Parks. Best To Avoid White Tree Close Car Park At School Drop Off And Pick Up Times. Although Not A Massive Area, Knowle Park Is Well Maintained And Clean. You May Need To Do Several Circuits To Give Your Dog A Long Walk But It Is A Pleasant Location With A Gravelled Walkway Around The Perimeter. There Are Car Park Opening/Closing Times (See Photo). Go Ape Activity Is There And There Is A Cafe But It Is A Dog-Free Zone. However There Are Benches Outside That You Can Sit And Eat On. This Is A Walk That Has Everything, Open Grassed Areas For Ball Running The Dog, Wooded Area Walks Which Are Great For The Dog That Likes To Have A Good Sniff And A Woodland Walk Next To Hamble River. I Normally Access The Park From Pylands Lane Which Is Next To Junction 8 Of The M27 And Then Take The Walk Through The Woods And Along The River Bank, The Walk Follows A Path And Runs Close To A Bridleway So Beware Of The Odd Horse Now And Again, There Are Plenty Of Parking Areas Along The Way Which Are Pay And Display. A Lovely Walk Along A Disused Railway And Straight Grit Pathway. It Runs Through Woodland, Under A Few Old Railway Bridges, And Past Some Streams. It Can Be A Little Muddy In A Few Places, But It’S Relatively Flat. There Can Be Cyclists Or The Occasional Horse With Rider, But There’S Space For Your Dog To Sniff Around For Exciting Smells.
