Cufaude is a small village located in the county of Hampshire, England. It is situated approximately 3 miles to the north of Basingstoke and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The name Cufaude is believed to have originated from the Old English words 'cufa' meaning 'cove' and 'wudu' meaning 'wood', which suggests that the village was once surrounded by dense woodland.

One of the most notable features of Cufaude is its beautiful church, St. Lawrence's Church. The church dates back to the 12th century and is a Grade II listed building. It is built in the Norman style and features a beautiful bell tower and stained glass windows. The church is still in use today and is a popular destination for visitors to the village.
