Welcome to Burridge

Burridge is a small village located in the county of Hampshire, England. It is situated approximately 5 miles east of the city of Southampton and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Swanwick Nature Reserve Can Be Found At The End Of Sopwith Way To The Rear Of The National Air Traffic Site In Swanwick. There Is A Small Car Park But If Necessary, You Can Park (Considerately) Along Sopwith Way. The Nature Reserve Consists Of Three Walks Marked Red (Short), Blue (Around The Lake) And Yellow (Longest). By Following The Marked Posts It Is Possible To Do A Combination. Poo Bins Are Provided Along The Walk Routes. We Found This To Be A Very Pleasant Walk But Be Prepared For Some Inclines Which Can Be A Bit Slippery Underfoot At Certain Times. This Is A Walk That Has Everything, Open Grassed Areas For Ball Running The Dog, Wooded Area Walks Which Are Great For The Dog That Likes To Have A Good Sniff And A Woodland Walk Next To Hamble River. I Normally Access The Park From Pylands Lane Which Is Next To Junction 8 Of The M27 And Then Take The Walk Through The Woods And Along The River Bank, The Walk Follows A Path And Runs Close To A Bridleway So Beware Of The Odd Horse Now And Again, There Are Plenty Of Parking Areas Along The Way Which Are Pay And Display.
