Willingale is a small village located in the county of Essex, England. It is situated approximately 5 miles north of Chipping Ongar and 8 miles south of Great Dunmow. The village is divided into two parts, Willingale Doe and Willingale Spain, which are separated by a small stream. The village has a population of around 400 people and is known for its beautiful countryside and historic buildings.

One of the most notable buildings in Willingale is the Church of St. Christopher, which dates back to the 12th century. The church is built in the Norman style and features a beautiful tower and stained glass windows. The church is still in use today and is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike. Another historic building in the village is Willingale Mill, which was built in the 18th century and is now a private residence.

Willingale is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is a popular destination for walkers and cyclists. The village is located near the Essex Way, a long-distance footpath that runs from Epping to Harwich. This Is A Lovely Walk, It's Very Open Although There Are Some Wooded Areas. I Have Never Seen It Crowded Even On A Warm Summer Sunday. Some Of It Is Cow Field So For Those Parts It's Best To Have Your Dog On A Lead Although There Are No Signs Up Urging You To Do This. If You Want To Walk Further You Can Follow The River Stort For Miles, (A Number Of Pubs On Route). Within The Actual Park There Are Some Rolling Hills So I'm Not Sure About Wheel Chair Access. There Is A Railway Track Which Is Not Fenced Off Across The River And Along The Far Edge Of The Park, But You Don't Really Have To Go Anywhere Near This.
