South Benfleet is a small town located in the county of Essex, England. It is situated on the northern bank of the Thames Estuary and is approximately 30 miles east of London. The town has a rich history dating back to the Roman times, with evidence of a Roman settlement found in the area. Today, South Benfleet is a thriving community with a population of around 13,000 people.

One of the main attractions in South Benfleet is the Hadleigh Castle, which is located on a hill overlooking the Thames Estuary.
