It's Approximately A Four Mile Round Trip If You Only Walk To The Next Pub, The Harlow Mill. Once You Reach The Harlow Mill Cross Over The Road Bridge And Make Your Way Back. You Can Walk Further, The River Has A Path Along Side For Miles Or You Can Cut It Shorter, There Are Several Pedestrian Bridges. It's A Beautiful Forest Walk, Some Trails Are Marked Out Depending Which Way You Want To Go, But Be Aware That You Do Go Past Farms And There Are Live Stock, As Well As Other Animals That Live In The Woods, But Quite Rear That You Would See A Deer Or A Fox, There Is Free Parking Down Cock Lane, Which Starts You Off On The Old Roman Road, And Cock Ln Lancashire 4.15 miles

This Is A Lovely Walk, It's Very Open Although There Are Some Wooded Areas. I Have Never Seen It Crowded Even On A Warm Summer Sunday. Some Of It Is Cow Field So For Those Parts It's Best To Have Your Dog On A Lead Although There Are No Signs Up Urging You To Do This. If You Want To Walk Further You Can Follow The River Stort For Miles, (A Number Of Pubs On Route). Within The Actual Park There Are Some Rolling Hills So I'm Not Sure About Wheel Chair Access. There Is A Railway Track Which Is Not Fenced Off Across The River And Along The Far Edge Of The Park, But You Don't Really Have To Go Anywhere Near This.
