Welcome to Roxwell

Roxwell is a small village located in the county of Essex, England. It is situated approximately 5 miles to the north-west of the city of Chelmsford and has a population of around 1,000 people. The village is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is home to a number of historic buildings and landmarks.

One of the most notable landmarks in Roxwell is the St. Michael and All Angels Church. This beautiful church dates back to the 12th century and is a Grade I listed building. It features a stunning Norman doorway, a 14th-century font, and a 15th-century rood screen. The church is still in use today and is a popular destination for visitors to the village.

Another popular attraction in Roxwell is the Roxwell Millennium Green. This 2.5-acre site was created in 2000 to celebrate the new millennium and is now a beautiful green space for the local community to enjoy. It features a children's play area, a wildflower meadow, and a number of benches and picnic tables. The green is also home to a number of events throughout the year, including a summer fete and a fireworks display in November.
