Welcome to Woodham

Woodham is a small village located in County Durham, England. It is situated on the outskirts of Newton Aycliffe and is home to approximately 3,000 residents. The village has a rich history dating back to the 12th century when it was known as Wodeham. The name Woodham is derived from the Old English words "wudu" meaning wood and "ham" meaning settlement.

One of the most notable landmarks in Woodham is St. Elizabeth's Church. The church was built in the 19th century and is a Grade II listed building. It is a beautiful example of Gothic Revival architecture and features stained glass windows and a bell tower. The church is still in use today and is a popular venue for weddings and other special events.
