Welcome to Wyaston

Wyaston is a small village located in the county of Derbyshire, England. It is situated approximately 3 miles south-west of the city of Derby and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The village is home to a number of historic buildings, including the Grade II listed Wyaston House, which dates back to the 17th century. The village also has a church, St Mary's, which was built in the 13th century and is a fine example of Norman architecture.

One of the main attractions of Wyaston is its proximity to the Peak District National Park. The park is a popular destination for walkers, hikers, and nature lovers, and offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. There are a number of walking trails in the area, ranging from easy strolls to more challenging hikes. The park is also home to a variety of wildlife, including deer, foxes, and birds of prey.

Despite its small size, Wyaston has a strong sense of community. The village has a number of local events throughout the year, including a summer fete and a Christmas market. There is also a village hall, which hosts a range of activities and events, including yoga classes, art exhibitions, and community meetings. The village pub, The Bluebell, is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike, and serves a range of traditional pub food and real ales.
