Snelston is a small village located in the Derbyshire Dales district of Derbyshire, England. The village is situated on the A515 road, which runs from Lichfield in Staffordshire to Ashbourne in Derbyshire. Snelston is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is a popular destination for walkers and cyclists. The village has a rich history and is home to several historic buildings, including the Grade II listed Snelston Hall.

Snelston Hall is a stunning 17th-century country house that was built for the Cokayne family. The house is now a private residence and is not open to the public, but visitors can still admire the beautiful architecture and grounds from the outside. We Visited Stoney Wood Whilst Staying In Wirksworth. Walkable From The Village Or Park Close By. This Place Is Part Of A Millennium Wood Planted In An Old Quarry.
