Lidgate is a small village located in the Derbyshire Dales district of Derbyshire, England. This Is A Fantastic Albeit Challenging Walk Through Woodland And Narrow English Lanes, The Steep Ascent To Froggatt Edge Is Rewarded By Breath-Taking Views At The Top. S11 7TZ 5.54 miles Take The A6187 From Sheffield, Heading Towards Hathersage. Turn Left Onto The A625 Following Signs For Froggatt. Shortly After Passing The Grouse Inn On Your Right Hand Side, Turn Right And Follow The Brown National Trust Signs For Parking.

This Is A Fantastic Moderate Walk Offering Some Good Views And Interesting Scenery. Care Should Be Taken Especially When Descending From Curbar Edge Itself. S32 3YX 6.56 miles Take The A619 From Bakewell, Heading Towards Chesterfield. Upon Reaching A Roundabout, Follow Signs For Manchester And Stockport On The A623. Turn Left At The Mini Roundabout Through The Village. Stay On This Road Until You See Signs For Froggatt And Curbar. Turn Right, And Continue Until You Come To A Church. Turn Right Onto Curbar Hill.
