S32 3YX 3.56 miles Take The A619 From Bakewell, Heading Towards Chesterfield. Upon Reaching A Roundabout, Follow Signs For Manchester And Stockport On The A623. Turn Left At The Mini Roundabout Through The Village. Stay On This Road Until You See Signs For Froggatt And Curbar. Turn Right, And Continue Until You Come To A Church. Turn Right Onto Curbar Hill. The Car Park Is On The Left When You Get Out Of The Village.

This Is A Fantastic Albeit Challenging Walk Through Woodland And Narrow English Lanes, The Steep Ascent To Froggatt Edge Is Rewarded By Breath-Taking Views At The Top. S11 7TZ 3.88 miles Take The A6187 From Sheffield, Heading Towards Hathersage. Turn Left Onto The A625 Following Signs For Froggatt. Shortly After Passing The Grouse Inn On Your Right Hand Side, Turn Right And Follow The Brown National Trust Signs For Parking.

Monsal Trail
The Monsal Trail Follows The Path Of The Former Midland Railway From Blackwell Mill Cottages To Coombs Viaduct, About 1Km Past The Former Bakewell Station - A Distance Of About 20Km. For The Most Part The Trail Follows The Path Of The River Wye, Which Means It Offers Some Spectacular Scenery. You Can Get Onto The Trail At Several Points. It Is A Tarmacked Wide Path And Goes Through Several Tunnels. The Route Is Shared By Walkers, Cyclists And Horse Riders So It Is Best To Keep Your Dogs On Lead. Padley Gorge
This Is An Excellent Circular Walk Through The Ancient Woodland Of Padley Gorge Starting In The Longshaw Estate Before Crossing The B6521 To Follow Beside The Burbage Brook. The Walk Travels South On The Western Bank Of The River Before Crossing And Returning Along The Eastern Bank. The Thick Tree Canopy And Running Water Ensures That This Walk Remains Cool Throughout The Summer. Whilst The Moss Covered Boulders And Many Ferns Help To Make This Feel Like A Truely Magical Place. Dogs Must Be Kept On Their Lead Whilst Passing Through The Longshaw Estate. S11 7TY 4.08 miles From Hathersage Continue Towards Sheffield On The A6187. Heatherdene
A Well-Signposted Walk Close To Ladybower Reservoir In The Hope Valley. Just Over 10-Miles Outside Of Sheffield. This Is A Lovely Dog Walk Around Water And Through Some Woodland. S33 0BY 4.61 miles Heatherdene Is Located Off The A57 Which Leads Out From Sheffield. The Car Park Itself Is Located Opposite Ladybower Reservoir On The A6013.

Monks Dale
The Route Follows The Monk's Dale Dry Gorge Near Buxton. The Valley Is Dry Over The Summer But There Is A Winterbourne Stream Which Runs Into The River Wye. For Some Larger Dog Breeds This Can Be Linear Walk; The Wall Gaps Towards The Halfway Mark Get Quite Narrow. You Can Also Readily Join The Monsal Trail From The Carpark Of This Walk. SK17 8SN 4.89 miles From Buxton Follow The A6 Towards Bakewell. Turn Left Down The B6049 Following Signs For Tideswell And The Monsal Trail. As You Enter Millers Dale, Turn Left Toways Wormhill Still Following Signs For The Monsal Trail. The Road Assends And Passes Under Two Bridges, The Carpark Is Then On Your Left.
