Runcorn is a town located in the county of Cheshire, England. It is situated on the southern bank of the River Mersey and is connected to the north bank by the iconic Runcorn Bridge. The town has a rich history dating back to the Roman era, and evidence of this can be seen in the form of the remains of a Roman fort that was discovered in the area.
