Tittenhurst Berkshire is a historic estate located in the village of Sunninghill, Berkshire, England. The estate was originally built in the 18th century and was later purchased by John Lennon and Yoko Ono in 1969. The couple lived in the estate until 1971 and during their time there, they recorded some of their most famous songs including "Imagine" and "Jealous Guy". The estate was later sold to Ringo Starr in 1973 and was subsequently purchased by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of the United Arab Emirates.
The estate is spread over 72 acres and features a main house, a guest house, a swimming pool, a tennis court, and a lake. The main house is a Grade II listed building and features six bedrooms, a drawing room, a dining room, and a library. The guest house, which was added by John Lennon, features four bedrooms and a recording studio. The estate also features a beautiful garden that was designed by the famous landscape architect, Capability Brown.
Today, Tittenhurst Berkshire is a private residence and is not open to the public. However, the estate remains an important part of music history and is a popular destination for Beatles fans from around the world. The estate has also been used as a filming location for several movies and TV shows, including the James Bond film "A View to a Kill".
