Amazing Hills And Valleys Make This Place A Worth While Visit. Park For Free On Church Lane And Walk Up The Lane. There Are Several Pathways To Choose From. You Can See The Massive Peak From Here And I Took This Path Along The Field To The Reserve. Its High Up With Steep Paths And Steps. You Will Need To Be Reasonably Fit. But The Views Over The Valley Are Worth It. It's Like A Mini Peak District. There Is A Wood And Stream At The Bottom With Flatter Paths. I Enjoyed The Slim Paths Running Around The Hills. Wild Ponies Roam. If You Enjoy A Challenge, Try It.

Bancroft Park
This Is A Nice 1 Hour Walk, Plenty Of Friendly Dogs And Owners Allow Socializing. There Is A Roman Villa To Look Around, The Gravel Path Leads Around A Stream And Meadow Area. At The Bradwell End You Can Walk Up To The Concrete Cows, Although If Your Dog(S) Aren't Used To Being Off Leash Then Put Them On The Lead At That Point Due To A Busy Dual Carriageway (Monks Way). If You Continued Under Monks Way, You Can Follow The Redway To Bradwell Abbey, A Norman Abbey With A Chapel Still Standing. Back Toward Bancroft There Is A Small Wooded Area Following The Railway Back Into The Park. Squirrels, Rabbits, Jays, Woodpeckers And Other Birds Can Be Seen/Heard.
