Kempston Hardwick is a small village located in the county of Bedfordshire, England. It is situated approximately 3 miles south of Bedford and is surrounded by the villages of Kempston, Wootton, and Stewartby. The village has a population of around 500 people and is known for its peaceful and rural setting.

The village has a rich history dating back to the 11th century when it was known as "Chenesitone". It was later renamed Kempston Hardwick in the 19th century after the Kempston family who owned the land. The village was primarily an agricultural community until the 20th century when it became more industrialized with the opening of the Stewartby brickworks and the construction of the Marston Vale railway line.

Today, Kempston Hardwick is a quiet and picturesque village with a few local amenities including a village hall, a pub, and a post office. The village is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is a popular destination for walkers and cyclists. It is also conveniently located near the A421 and A428, providing easy access to nearby towns and cities.
